About Christie Austin-Hore:
Christie is an Accredited Practising Dietitian based in Perth, Western Australia. Christie is passionate about providing a specialised nutrition service for women who seek personalised advice to optimise their pregnancy, fertility or specific women’s health issues.
As one of only 6 dietitians in Western Australia with Monash University FODMAP Accreditation, Christie provides a unique service for women who suffer both irritable bowel syndrome and women’s health concerns.
About the webinar:
Around one in five Australians experiences the unpleasant symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) at some time. Some women that suffer from IBS often note a change in their symptoms when pregnant - for some it may be an improvement, for others it can worsen.
While the low-FODMAP diet is often used in the management of IBS, there are a number of factors that need to be considered when managing IBS and diet during pregnancy.
In this free webinar, Christie explores the current research surrounding IBS and diet during pregnancy and provides an updated recommendation.
